Description: Heather Stanley, Life Coach, will be presenting on how to manage stress through self-care by establishing work boundaries, time with close friends and family and healthy activities. She will discuss self-care practices that increase performance and productivity while focusing on self-care.
OHVMA Members, Barb Nalette and Diane Honsberger will be presenting on national and local certification options, resources and benefits for volunteer leaders.
Heather Stanley Biography:
Heather Stanley is a wellness coach and motivational speaker who lives in southwestern Ohio. Since 2010, she has led weekly in-person and virtual health-focused workshops throughout the Dayton, Ohio area. Her motivation to help others improve their health, no matter their starting point, is rooted in her own journey toward better mental and physical health. A California native, she is a 1990 graduate of Hope International University in Fullerton, CA. Her ongoing training includes a variety of wellness techniques from mindfulness to healthy eating to creating achievable exercise goals. When she isn’t coaching or speaking, she spends time with and homeschools her two daughters and looks forward to her oldest daughter’s graduation this summer. She is an avid reader (mostly historical fiction), has a reputation for making irresistible pies and pastries, and loves all things Disney
