This is going to be a special webinar for us... and will last 2.5 hours versus our normal 1.5 hours! 

Our industry has SO. MANY. ACRONYMS, right?  This session may not identify all the abbreviations but we'll clearly define two of the acronyms surrounding certification for volunteer leaders: 

CCVA - Council for Certification in Volunteer Administration

CAVS- Certified Administrator of Volunteer Services

During this webinar, we'll have the opportunity to hear from Yvonne Dunphe, CVA, Outreach Committee Member for CCVA (Council for Certification in Volunteer Administration) who will share the benefits and process for CCVA certification. 

Additionally, Jessica Barker, Director, Certification and Continuing Education, Patient Experience Institute (PXI) will share information on CAVS certification. 

** You are welcome to attend both sessions or just one.  Please see below for the presentation agenda.  Simply log into the webinar (zoom link emailed 1 day prior) during the time that suits your interest (or, of course join at 10a and attend the entire session until 12:30p) 

10:00a-  CCVA presentation on CVA certification. There are two “breaks” or stopping points for questions and they will also open it up for questions at the end.

11:10a-11:15a- 5 minute break

11:15a-12:00p- PXI presentation on CAVS certification

12:00p-12:30p- Q&A, brief information on CDVS, networking, reminders, etc.
